You most likely got it from a crate. Even if you didn't pick up a crate manually, one of your units might've picked up a crate while just normally moving on the map.

That is actually sometimes caused by windowed mode. But yeah, try the different renderers in both windowed and fullscreen modes.

Try changing the Renderer in the options menu. Give a try to DxWnd, and if it doesn't work, then TS-DDRAW. If that doesn't work either, then try the rest.

What windows do you have?
