I hope some of the art is just placeholder for now. For Infantry at least you could go the same method they did with using colored bands/backpacks to help distinguish other variants.

It's impossible to make a unit that can disguise into other units. The closest you can do is either making it cloaked or being able to disguise into a Tree (Like a Mirage Tank)

1) Which ones? All the Rocker Units didn't have extra voxels that clipped through lower. There were some that had holes in the bottom but they all were pobably due to importing of 3D Files into VXL Co ...

Don't use TibEd, It tends to add unnecessary tags which break the codes already. Just refer to modenc while making changes and use already existing codes as templates then do trial and error.

I usually make previews of units with a Debug Unit which uses amphibious locomotor so I can prop it in either land or water tiles.

Transforming the selected pieces via nearest neighbor to keep it from blurring the edges (ala Antialiasing) Don't forget to resize the canvas of the files so you don't clip out the new bits.

The notched Muzzle is part of the Tsunami Tank's Design in the RA3 though.
