Interestingly the art was also outsourced, so they really did do a good job since it literally looks just like a higher res version of the original, as you can check just by swapping back and forth.

Honestly never seen an aircraft spawn with extra ammo. They sometimes fire an extra shot, but they don't actually have extra ammo. To that issue at least there is no fix I don't believe.

Don't think so. The spawner has to be completely still, which is partly why flying carriers are such a pain in the arse since they shuffle a lot to get into position.

I would say I was regularly awake at that time in my teens, until responsibility became a thing. I heard changing your eating patterns is a good way of adjusting sleep schedule though.

A custom palette version for Ares would be good too so it doesnt fade to brick colours in the darker parts. Otherwise I think it looks really good.
