Hi all,
I have some .PNG pictures I'd like to use as loading screens in my mod for RA2 Yuri's Revenge (replacing ls800ustates.shp, ls800russia.shp etc. in loadmd.mix) but the game seems to be using a different kind of palette when showing these loading screens, so they look horrible. Setting an other palette in Shp Builder should fix the problem, wathever palette I use, the game doesn't show the original colours of the picture. Can somebody help me with that?

That's because you can have only 255 different colors in one palette, so usually, for example, one palette lacks pink color scheme, whereas another lacks light brown.

255 shades and one more usally black, pink or transparent (one of the first two) or some other random color
