This won't have any use for anyone but I thought I'd post it up before it gets accidentally lost.

This is MOST of the Dune 2000 terrain converted to replace the YR desert theatre back in 2011 using a similar to style to Dawn of the Tiberium Age. It uses the original desert palette so perhaps converting it to the D2k palette would bring out the colours better.

I've included the mix, ini and test map as well as all the old Photoshop files and original tile PNGs so you can edit them (don't know how organised they are).

The infantry rock turned out lame I remember but I'm not working on it anymore.

The D2K terrain looks really good. Much better and more realistic than the RA2 desert.

Good job on the conversion and thanks for releasing it.
I wonder if Bittah now feels the urge to add D2K terrain to DTA too. Smile

Wow. That looks pretty amazing Smile

Dune terrain has an interesting gameplay, overall, because you can't build on the majority of the terrain. Also, resources are never on buildable terrain. It gives quite a different dynamic.

YR's Wink

The terrain is beautiful! Very Happy
If only it had higher cliffs as those look like level 2 cliffs (half height).

Those are surely all flat terrain level 0 cliffs and just a visual thing.

Yeah they're not real cliffs, it's all flat. It was never meant to be played with actual YR stuff.

Well the terrain is quite useful indeed despite that you think... The cliffs could bigger but since is a rip is fine... But try to make them higher... And thanks! About the use for this... Well some people can use it for Post-Apocaliptic maps or even for Dune Mod maps... #Tongue
