Converting Shps to Red Alert 2 format
Requirements:
XCC Mixer
Tiberian Sun, or Red Alert
Some of you might already know this but there is a lot of you out there who keep saying the images don't appear correctly so this tuturial will help you get those images working. First open XCC Mixer. Now goto the mix file where your shp you want converted is. Click View ' Palet ' and select Auto or select the palet you know that shp uses and then select Use for Conversion also you will select either Convert from RA or Convert from TD depending on which game your shp is on (RA is for Red Alert and TD is for Tiberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun). Highlight your shp and right click it. Select Copy and walla! It is now in Red Alert 2 format.

There is no option known as "Convert from TS" in XCC, Kravitz.

I know that.

*sigh* I wasn't very clear, was I.

There doesn't need to be a "Convert from TS" because RA2/YR uses very similar file formats that are just slightly updated. (well at least the voxels are updated.)

to convert from TS to RA2, you just need to resize the .shp.

how do i resize the land tiles from TS into a RA2 size tile?

At the moment, the only way is to convert the TMP to extract the  PCX images from it with XCC TMP Editor, resize them with a image program or even XCC Mixer and then you open any ra2 tmp file with similar properties than your TS one, in XCC TMP Editor and... load your pcx there.


It's a boring job and the result might not be a high quality thing... except maybe if you do some manual editing on it to improve the image quality. While TS tiles are 24x24 (24x48 when rotated in 45', like it is in the game), the RA2 ones are 30x30, I think (30x60 rotated in 45').
