I might as well come clean, Stargate SG-1 Mod is scrapped. Hard Drive faliure killed all content and files, including a death glider I worked for months on. During this time I re-thought the situation, and decided to work on another mod. It's a remake of X-Com: UFO Defense or also known as UFO: Enemy Unknown based in a parallel universe to the X-Com games. It takes place during the First Alien War with the Cydonian assault failing.

I may come back to the SG-1 mod in the future, at the moment it's in a "coma". I'm appointing Durrandi and Demonwolf (if he wants) to take charge of the Stargate Mod (as you can see a forum is still there.) however I still oversee it. Also posts to the SG-1 Mod have been transferred to that direct forum.

PPM: Universe also has it's own forum by the way so we can conduct everything related to that there.

Anyway, a brave new mod for a brave new forum! #Tongue

Sounds cool.
I hope that you will keep the damage values from UFO?
(There's no X-Com without instantkills Wink .

Instant kills are something to be considered #Tongue X-Com troops and Marines are more suited to overwhelming an alien in an early game while an alien instant kills. As such the aliens will be an expensive side. X-Com troops and Marines will be cheap and roughly equal in comparison.

For a start I decided to base it in the First Alien War, rather than do an X-Com fight fest Gufu. Time has changed until then and I thought it'd be fitting to do this instead of that. I have no intention of including the Aquatic Aliens, the Microid Agreggate or the Ethereal Hierarchy.

This will just be the Brain Hierarchy vs X-Com and the Terrans.
