I want to write new SHP-Editor
Without glitches....
I will write it on Visual C ++ using Win32 API (Win64 API for Win64) and assembler

make a cool voxel editor too plz, with HVA builder in it.
also remember that photoshop has lotsa cool functions that'll do great on SHP editor, some even on voxel editor.

3D-2-SHP/Voxel as a plugin, + support for most model extentions. would be wicked. (tough though) easy texturing (actually, banshee's method's fine)
built in voxel-viewer.
SHP importing from all image files, especially PSD is important (even more when SHP editor will have layers) PNG is pretty important too, as you won't have to convert images to GIF anymore. PNG is good even in MSpaint, and not everyone has photoshop.

There is basicaly no program in the world that doesn't have glitches. Since no SHP Builder so far thats been open source has used C++ u will have a much harder time. Due to the fact u will be working from scratch.

Add WSA support is good idea
But many different WSA file formats (The Legend of Kyrandia, Command and Conquer and ...)

As I known, WSA are basically a series of Format40 images, that are then compressed with Format80.

I need to edit Dune 2, C&C1 and RA1 WSA's #Tongue

Olaf told me he stopped trying after his first tests with WSA didn't work ingame.
