Or what you could do is "install" the beta to a folder on your desktop then copy the files and past them again into your TS directory. Then you will see all the RotD files are selected. Simply delete them. Done.

You could also do what most people are too lazy to do, have a look into the install.txt that comes with the mod, there it says which files are installed with RotD, you just have to remove these files to uninstall it.

Besides that, keep in mind that RotD does NOT have any effect on your TS, you can start your normal TS like always even if RotD is installed, the RotD files are only used by RotD.

For mods that use their own .exe ( RotD, TSTW ) i mostly make a new folder, extract the mod files there, and copy TIBSUN.MIX and some other files to the folder. Voila.

You've got the right idea there The DvD. That's exactly how installing Taktics will work. (Except there won't be any manual file copying.)

Yeah, I've done that for all mods. Takes some space with the 70mb tibsun.mix though...

I wish Windows had REAL file links like Linux, instead of stupid Shortcuts... then you could give all these directories links to the original files, and they'd use em as if they were right there in that directory.
