Subject description: Probably my fault though

On a map I have created whenever an engineer enters a secret lab nothing happens! No idea what could have caused it but it's quite annoying. Any help?

I can't unfortunately the map is modified from another map I found on the net and obviously I asked the makers permission to edit it, he kindly agreed as long as I didn't publish the map and it was for my own use.

Make a new post, or edit a post, and scroll down to the near bottom of the page. It's got an uploading option there, just click on browse, and find your map... Then click on "Upload" then save your post... Then i'll download it and try to figure out what 's wrong, being as i've never heard of anything like this before, either. Confused (You've edited the post now, so it obviously don't matter Rolling Eyes)

Edit : If you're capturing more than one secret lab, this could be the problem... It's only possible to have one secret lab technology at a time... Or, actualy, what stage are you on when you capture a secret lab? Do you have your barracks, radar and war factory?

Yes I have all those, in total there are 4 secret labs on the map and I don't get any new technology when I capture any of them

And no mods installed the game is fresh and new

Yeah, that's wierd. Confused Anyhow, open the map up in word pad, and copy and paste the code's that appear (not the whole document, but the bit at the top).

Well, it's not what i thought then... I thought it'd of been something like .INI editing in the map... but theres nothing in the word document (After the first thing like "[PreviewPack]" appears, then that means theres been no .INI editing further in (That i know of anyway) ) that indicates any .INI editing... Theres only one other thing i can think of, are there any triggers on the map?

A Secret Lab's goodie is determined on map load, and it is possible that you already have the option to build the unit the game has chosen to give as the goodie. Although I don't think that would be reproducible. And as far as I know, all instances of the same Secret Lab building give out the same thing, but nothing is stopping you from cloning the secret lab and placing three different clones, which theoretically should give you four random goodies. Of course there's the possibility that the original author edited the map to make secret labs useless... show us the [General], [CASLAB], and any entry that mentions SecretHouses.

You sure about that, DCoder? Cause in the majority of all map's i've looked at in word-pad, when all that crap comes up after [MapPreview], theres nothing further on in? Or could this be because i need to use something else such as Editpad or WordPad?
