I made the program compatibility mode for 98 still nothing, I looked for a patch or something that will make it run and nothing. And no I'm not the person that made that post. But I have the same problem so you can look at his picture link he hosted so you can see what I mean

You want our help, therefore it is your responsibility to ask decently. Your response to gufu shows that you value your own time above ours/his, which is insulting at best. Do that again and you'll find your question in the Crap Forum. QUICK_EDIT
Alright first off he's in the clear for the way he said what he did? I’m the one that was insulted he could have kept is comment to himself or said it more positively. And I was going after him not you or anyone that had nothing to do with the comment. I use code in another forum that I joined to so I guess it’s a force of habit.
And you bring up help well ok, I was happy to see Dutchygamer tried to help and if I’m not mistaken I informed him of something he didn’t know. But gufu didn’t offer any help so as far and I’m concerned we are even.
I very rarely ask for help when it come to anything because I hate being burden, and yet when I do ask for help this is what happens. I end up defending myself every time and it’s just so old you have no idea. QUICK_EDIT
waste their time? fine two one click links enjoy. I brought up the Final Sun comment not because I was asking for help with it. but to inform you guys that it woks for Vista if anyone did not known QUICK_EDIT

All this discussion for a stupid [img] tag. I hope the discussion is over, because I've added the [img] tag now for him. The picture is big and it's not really cool to see a picture at this size in a phpBB forum. But now, you can see it with your own eyes.
Unfortunately, I can't test Final Alert with my Vista, because I don't have Red Alert 2 installed here. QUICK_EDIT
Let's assume someone capable, like Mig Eater, had posted that instead of gufu. Would you still have asked the same?
Gufu was the one who complained. Five skilled people might have looked at the thread* and thought the same as gufu, without actually posting it.
*That would sound more believable if this forum was being visited by five skilled mappers, of course.

Not quite. His original post included URLs of those images inside [code] blocks. Where they cannot be auto-url-ificated and have to be copied manually. When I pressed on him, he (indignantly, as if a hobo was asking him for his change) changed those to regular links. Which were adequate, actually. QUICK_EDIT

But still, why would an older version of the program work, but a newer version not? That's completely stupid if you ask me I will try some things, and if i find a solution, i will tell it here
EDIT: i got FinalAlert to work properly on Vista! Just run the program with Windows XP compability mode and with Administrator on (if you get what i mean). QUICK_EDIT
