Woodestown USA (2 Players, YR)
Subject description: Crappy name, and even buggy
Well, I have been working on this map for quiet a while. It is somewhat simple, flat town in which civilians live. Most of the area is filled with trees, thus anooying both of the sides. The building space is sufficient, but may appear to be too small to people who like to expand. The town also is a great place to film movies... even documentaries...
Anyway, the map contains no triggers and lots of trees, a nicew touch here and there... and a small bug.
I can't add any more pictures because YR doesn't let me simply take screenshots. Perhaps a minimap will suffice?
Elerium speaks the truth. I'm sorry, but I can't download this to give it a full review. Last edited by Aro on Thu Jan 03, 2008 10:08 pm; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT

Judging from a minimap is no way to determine quality.
I'd love to test it, however my RA2 discs are fucked up beyond readability. _________________ PPM's Reichstrollfuherer, 236th Trollenparties brigade. QUICK_EDIT

The sheer terror of FA's screens! Be aware and hide in fear!
In ugly .jpg format for the sake of size...

Actually, Gufu, this is way better than what I expected from you.
The only issues at the moment that I can see from these pictures is that there isn't much LAT detail used in most parts. There are certain area's that look really plain, even under the tree's there should be a different variety of LAT's. Did you consider using more Dirt-roads to make the map look... better?
Slopes are rather blocky too, try lowering the LAT using 2x2, then making it look less blocky by using the higher slope tool 1x1; You can do the same VICE VERSA... And of course, there is a sand LAT error in picture number 3.
That's the best I can do for you, as I'm unable to download. QUICK_EDIT

Use the TX then on your maps? And do make more maps. This website could use a little Red Alert in it. _________________ PPM's Reichstrollfuherer, 236th Trollenparties brigade. QUICK_EDIT
