That's not a finished map. From the radar looking, you only filed half of your map.

This should be moved to the map editing forum...

Maybe that detail was INTENTIONAL? I couldnt give a passing grade because of that (OMG HALF A MAP MISSING ZOMGWTFBBQ!!).

But the rest of it looks like a beginners try at goodness.

Lol man, don't talk shit. I'm making for 3 years maps, have earned my respect at xwis, raden, cgen, dgnf,... and I know how a reasonable map looks like. The detailed part is good, but that empty ôther part is bad. end of story.

if that map was fully filled with details, then it would be a good map. but at its current state it isn't. Sorry.

BTW Kremlin has only one clock tower. Yours has four clocks for some unknown reason...

I always hated when non-Russians tried to make something that is related to Russia. They always make something upside down...

The site is a bit too big to figure out where to download. Could you be more specific about the link? Otherwise I'll have to move it to map discussion...

'In Soviet Russia, map makes you!'

Finish it and it'll be good.

Honestly...I dont want to be rude, but restart from scratch with a map of Moscow on hand..the Volga river is missing, Red Square should be in there(not the little podium thing, the actual square.), the Lenin Mausoleum's missing, too(use a crypt and slap it against the Kremlin wall, works for the job.) McBurger Kong should be gone, too. This isnt capitalism and free enterprise here, Comrade.

To be fair, most of the original maps in YR and RA2 were just cartoonized interpretations of the cities depicted, and for good reason. DC and New York specifically were just generalized blobs with all the landmarks squeezed into the confined space. I've been to both.

A good YRish map to depict Moscow would have just the little inner-most serpentine of the river, with the Kremlin and all that jazz.

Basically, the visible 'circle' with five bridges as seen from this satelite photo.

Would be very cool, in a retro Soviet-Strike kinda way.

I don't bother at all 'bout how the city looks in reality. IMo, it goes about how much work you putted into it. He obviously did his best for the left side of the map and it looks good. But a map should be finished, not half detailed-half open.

Actually, now that you mention it, I just realised the United States Congress/Senate/house/Whatever you call it building isnt even in Red Alert 2.

Gah...Stupid river...Volgograd is on the Volga...

WW New York and Washington were detailed and looked like a huge megapolis even with memorials, but WW Moscow looked like a damn giant village and with Kremlin somewhere nearby. I won't even menton any famous places like Moscow University and etc.

this one is definitely better than WW work, but there is still much to do...

Moscow is nearly impossible to make in a map, because of its circular structure, while there aren't such road tiles. But a fragment of it could be done.

Better than most of the maps I see that claim to be the midwest... Seriously, we have rivers! *coughs at a certain Kansas map that was missing three river branches.*
