Things that keep Renegade fun

The following are some of my experiences in Renegade which still keep the game fun after all this time.

- Sneaking up behind an enemy sniper and whapping some c4 explosive on the back of his unsuspecting head.

- Taking out 2 Mobius' as a free shotgun trooper

- Taking out 2 Artillery singlehandedly, as a free Light Infantry.

- Driving the Humvee into enemy buildings. Really gives them a shock when you run them over as they come in to heal!

- Trying to do tricks in the Nod Buggy, and then falling off upside down off a cliff into the tiberium field.

- Placing remote C4 all over your ally, and then using him as a human bomb as he throws himself literally at the enemy forces.

Description:

- Everyone spending their entire stock of cash on Nuke/Ion beacons at the end of the timer.

lol, yet another reason to kick my damnable 56k, i can't play renegade without it lagging. Curses!

awww guess some of yall gonna miss out on cnc reborn. i think renegade engine is kinda crapy they shoulda made the mod on another games like i dont know tribes 2 engine... or hell maybe even unreal.

an unreal tournament 2003 renegade mod would be awesome, if I knew how to mod UT2k3 then I'd consider it but I just can't get my head round the unrealscript or whatever the hell it is

renegade is really awesome, one of the best FPS's I've ever played.

Aw yes, i just love doing that, once i was a soilder and stuck my timed on a sniper, ended up killing 3 guys ;D

I have 56k and i have had some non lag games before in renegade, all depends on how many people are playing in the game. Not a bad game overall Smile

lol, I got two comps with 56k, and two phone lines, cept old one cant do notin! lol... im so freakin tired of 56k * #Mad

*! I keep buggin for dsl, at least its faster!

Yet I do find renegade games that dont lag, even some counter-strike games that don't....
