Suggestions:

1. Fix your grammar. "Needed to get it", I believe you mean "Prerequisite". Also, AFAIK, "Bio" is about a human person only, and coz it's a statue, use rather "info" or something...

2. The frames and the lines of the model are quite too easily seen. It needs more work, to blend it in. Also I believe it's rather weak, break the leg, and the whole weapon falls down...

interesting concept.

just work to develop it further. Like Yurio07 said the legs need to me more believable. as a support.

you could have the dress flow downwards. and its going to need some detail. so it doesnt look silly. Look up Statues. google. Wink

also think about adding animation. Like do the wings flap as it fires. I mean something interesting beyond just the orb glowing.

i edited the original one a little bit and then i came up with an idea for a new way the statue is postioned, so i wanted to know which you guys thought was better, 1 or 2?

I like the stand up model, but the textures are sucks.

I have some suggestion and a picture in my head.
Make the body a ligher shiny color. And make it shine(silver stars popup sometimes in a activate anim). And add some muscle texture.
And the red thing on the top should have a glowing animition.

I have no ides about the bottom, but the texutre sucks there to. Add a alot of stuff.
I hope you like the ides. It may be hard you also learn.
And download 3ds max 8 from torrent using crack. It coast f*cking $3,000, who have that money?

1) Standing with tilted head is more cooler in my opinion. Nice darker aspect.
2) Texture sucks and needs work.
3) Add something on the base! It's plain.
4) The feet needs work.

Everyone complaining about the texture... this thing doesn't even have one...

I think this defense should rotate and use an ActiveAnim of the ball glowing. A statue facing only one direction and shooting in all of them would be stupid.

This is the last mod I was expecting to see an update on any time soon. But yeah you've definitely improved, looks much better. Though I'm not going to pass final judgment until I see a textured version.

Agreed it has been a while.

while wow it is a retty good model, much improvement since. although I really liked the version with the angel. it was unique, while this sorta goes back down to some generic defense tower. Neutral


btw Aro, not everything in 3d NEEDS texture...#Tongue

eh, yeah...hi guys! Very Happy

yeah, this mod is dead. I'm just not into it anymore. making 3d models is still kinda fun every once and a while. and i had insomnia tonight. so i made an update to this sucker.


OK so how this thing works is the angel hovers over the machine, those Grey brackets that connect into a red circle in the middle of the machine rotates around.
and yeah. to get technical. those shiny crystals and gizmos in shining in the machine collect light.
to fire it, the crystals gather light and get collected by the gizmos, focused through the red circle, shot up into the angel, and out of the sphere the angel holds.

ok, the shadow is connected to the base because the tip of the wing shadow reaches the base shadow. idk how, but it does.

and kinda on the flying animation. now im about to get scientific so bare with me. the base thing has magnetic technology built in that causes the angel to hover. it bobs a little up and down as an animation.

the angel is just a statue that doesn't actually move its limbs or wings. the reason for it is to give the troops a sense of protection. like a guardian angel. it keeps them confident.

eh, true. but like you said, i said the mod is dead. and to add to that i said i had insomnia(which i did, was up till 4 in the frickin morning!) so i decided to do something constructive and have a go at 3d modeling. felt good to go back.
