Okay, which is better, a warrior or a mage?

Warriors are stronger to start off, as they get all the big weapons and have high amounts of HP. Mages are extremely weak at the start, and need henchmen to help them (always), but later on their attacks get far stronger than a warriors, and with the ability to not only lower enemy stats and slow them down, or poison them, but to attack an entire group of baddies at once, and kill them all in one hit! Which one is better?

Nah, anything a warrior can do, a mage can do better. Example: Some big weapons can smash open non-magical doors or crates, like crates and doors, and chests. A mage gets the "Knock" spell which opens all normal locks in a 150ft radius.

Orc Witch Doctor will stop them both with a cleverly placed Stasis trap, (He's already seen them coming with his strategically placed Sentry Wards) and then while stunned, he would kill them all, and if he got hurt, just heal himself after with a Healing Ward. j00!

lolll. This is a NWN forum, not a War3 forum. Besides, a smart wizard would be wearing a cloak of magical resistance, so he'd have a chance resist any attempt made on him by the stasis trap AND witch doctor. Also, the wizard would see and destroy the sentry and stasis traps: all wizards tend to have Ultravision handy, since it lets them see hidden units. Some even have amulets that reveal hidden things (I do)

Well then I'll just send in half a dozen Tauren, backed up with a dozen Shamans. That'll show em.

Can we say "Ice Storm?" 2d6 + 3d6 + (1 damage per level), and the critical strike damage is DOUBLE that, not to mention it hits everything in a 60ft radius. Then, the wizard still has an animal familiar to summon, a creature to summon (A badger (1), boar (2), wolf (3), or hugeass, poison enducing, disease causing, web spinning spider (4)), and he ALWAYS has someone walking with him to provide assistance. Then, remember that a couple cleverly placed fireballs can take out an army. The Wizard would have seen you coming and cast haste on himself, too.

Note: This is the tactic I use when faced with big enemies. Summon everything I can, cast Ice Storm and two fireballs. Then, I just heal my allies until they die, and then I still have a crossbow...
