I want my map to have radiation on a specific area during the whole match.
Is it possible to make that in FA2?

There is a map in standar YR that have this(xeb2.map). but that method ztype up other radiation wepaons.

clone the desolator and make the clone invisible and invincible?

If I remember correctly, Sinkhole has something similar to what you're trying to achieve. Why not take a look at it in FA2?

Oh yeah, damned radiation killed all my slaves! Bloody annoying, so I think I may have turned it off.. It was a while ago, I don't quite remember.

Sinkhole code is buggy like hell its got insane wh values and other stuff

If you are making a YR map you can give structures deploy weapons e.g.

[DesolationField]
Damage=1
ROF=60
Range=255 ;-2 is special case for spawn
Speed=1
AreaFire=yes
FireOnce=no
Projectile=InvisibleLow
Warhead=RadEruptionWarhead
IsRadEruption=no
RadLevel=500
Report=DesolatorDeploy

Then attach this to invisible light posts and should be ok.

Maybe you could make material that is "Irradiaded" and give that the desolators eruption. Or just go with AGs idea if you want it completely invisible.
