This comes from the host, that comes from Des0, that comes to us:

Quote:
It was done sometime yesterday, looking at the graphs, ( <link removed> ) the server has become completely stable again.

It turned it was suddenstrike.cncguild.net that was causing the error, but
they replaced the motherboard and cpu anyway since I have owned the server for more than a year. Apache and php were supposily upgraded as well.

suddenstrike was causing an infinite loop in php of some type, it tries to
request a copy of itself from itself. Atleast thats what I think is
happening. I will unsuspend the site in a few hours but I will have to edit
the index.php to be a static page to stop the problem happening again.

Do you have a copy of the source php code on your computer? I think I will need the person who wrote the code to take a look, and try to remove most of the php calls, then add them back one by one to see which one is the faulty one.

Note: yesterday = sunday.

So, problem on the server was fixed, but Apache was upgraded which means that some of the old code might have become incompatible with apache... and what kind of code is that? I ahve no idea, but my blind guess is include_once() or any code that someway how alocates memory... Anyway, I hope to see this problem fixed in some days... or less (without stopping to work on BS SHP Builder)
