The download includes both a .MPR version and a .YRM version.
Update Janurary 13th: I decided to enter Arden River in the Quick Match Patch map competition to try and get it as an official map for Red Alert 2 online, and it's in with a good chance. I did however have to make some drastic edits, so I'll include both versions here. The second download also contains a .MPR version and a .YRM version.

I think that the player on the right side has too much land, but idk if it was designed to be balanced as possible or whether it was made for cosmetic value. It's still a great job overall Razz

Updated the first post with a newer version, changes include balance fixes and more reasonably placed Tech structures.

I love this map, it looks like it could be fun to play on.

But when you first showed me this map I keep thinking I have seen a map like this before. And I was right! I looked at the maps that came with Yuri and the map Let there be fights is almost like yours. Are you stealing map layouts ARO? Laughing

Not really, it prevents serious camping and adds more tactical opportunities. Remember that the QM edition was made for online tournament games so all forms of camping have been cut.

You should remove those barrels next to the Airport; they'll blow it up along themselves.

If I remove the barrels and God forbid you go up against someone playing as France you're fucked if he gets the middle island. A good player will know how to capture the airport and put it to proper use without allowing it to be blown up by his/her opponent.
