Jet Tengu/Mecha Tengu (Designation: GAT-69E)
Armament: x2 Photon auto cannons
Equipment: Twin-drive transformation system
Armor: Light
Cost: $800
Prerequisites: War Factory/VTOL Pad
Roles: Air superiority fighter, light anti-ground

Commander, these are the newer models of our iconic air superiority fighter/anti-ground mech. The new model sports a more sophisticated design. It is powered by FIVE ionic jet engines to ensure high top speeds for the rather heavy aircraft as well as vents on it's underside which allow it to hover in one spot. Speaking of heavy, this new model is a lot more heavily armored than the older one.

Its guns are also much more devastating than the ones used before. Its twin photon auto cannons can shred infantry and inflict a good amount of damage against light vehicles and aircrafts. They are not that effective against the more heavier vehicles as well as structures. Like the Raider VX/Chopper VX, it is highly vulnerable when transforming between it's two modes.

Take note that it can only engage air targets in jet mode and ground targets in robot mode only.

Fun fact: The design of this unit was taken from the Murasame Gundam, which is in turn from the anime Gundam Seed Destiny. Yeah, the jet mode is just an inaccurate replica with my own style while the robot mode has the Marcoss style put into it.

The Murasame was my favorite grunt in Seed, though I thing 00 Flag is better IMO

Kickin sweet unit none the less!

It's legs look a little weird. And btw if these voxel mech type units use the ShadowIndex tag or UseTurretShadow=yes

The legs are too big and look wierd, and the coloring isn't helping; it doesn't look good when the legs are white and other parts are orange/black.

@Inzane: I'm keeping to this style for the robot mode. As I've said, some of the units are not as advanced as they are in RA3.

@OmegaBolt: Hmm, I think it does. Gonna need to resize them (cuz I resized the jet and robot body). Shadows are not a problem Wink One major problem is it's anim. I suck at hva anims. Anyone wanna help animate it?

@[TiberianFuture]: Well, the legs are white in jet mode. I'm just following it's colours.
