TShyper
ok, ok.
as i mentioned, i am computer illiterate, so ease off....
i see you have posted over 600 tiimes (to my 7(((( SORRY 9 inclusive)))...
hopefullly most have been more useful....
as i don't know what edit button your referring to
but as i look around, i see one on my posting
so this isn't like a newsgroup with threads, it is preferable to edit and add further comments?
is this like the 'bottom post vs top post issue"?
anywho, i want to thank everyone for their help... problem solved..

multiplayer error
i had the multiplayer working before but now it says my "westwood internet shared componets are missing" could you tell me how to fix this? it would be much obliged. QUICK_EDIT
It would have been better to make a new thread instead of bumping one that's five years old...
Anyway, if you have TS or RA2, simply place RoTD in the same parent folder (for example, C:\Program Files\Westwood\RoTD). [unless that's not the problem, in which case let us know] _________________ Dawn of the Tiberium Age staff member QUICK_EDIT

multiplayer error
Sorry about using an old thread. Was simply looking for one on a matching topic. Anyhow it's in the same folder as both my RA2 and TS and also has the Internet folder also inhabiting the same westwood folder. QUICK_EDIT
The only thing I can think of on the spot is to reinstall the internet components. I think there's another solution though...
anybody else have an idea? _________________ Dawn of the Tiberium Age staff member QUICK_EDIT
In either case however your help is greatly appreciated. _________________ Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encounter automatic weaponry.
Ok so after switching harddrive directories and reinstalling the TS internet folder it said that the files were too old. After seeing that i made alil progress I then preceded to reinstall them but using the RA2 Internet components and then it worked. Dunno why it would not work on my portable harddrive but in either case, mission accomplished! thanks chronoseth! _________________ Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encounter automatic weaponry.
BTW, there's an edit button there for a reason (the little pencil and paper). People usually don't like double-posts.
Glad I could help. _________________ Dawn of the Tiberium Age staff member QUICK_EDIT
