dds texture settings?

I'm working with ViewportCanvas and making my own dds textures, but this popped up on me. What is the required settings for .dds textures in Generals?
Ive applied a pic to show what i'm talking about. This is of course 3dsMax.

XCC Mixer will tell you te settings for different textures. They are not all the same, larger textures have different mip maps etc etc. Look for a texture that is the same type as you want to do and the same size.

what if i dont have anything to base it off of? Do I just look at a generals texture that closely relates to this type of unit? Will that work right?


right now im working on this unit here, got a suggestion on which generals vehicle most resembles this?

All DXT5 and 3 Textures should be fine, I've never worried about that.
