Q. Is it possible to make a moving Aircraft Carrier
A. No.

Q. How do I add my own Factions?
A. Modify the ControlbarScheme.ini and Playertemplate.ini
Note. For a more detailed explanation, read Dafool's Tutorial, Here

Q. How do I open the .BIG files?
A. Get a program called "FinalBig" or XCC Mixer. Both will open .BIG's

Q. Where are all the .INI's that i should modify?
A. 1. They should be located in your Data<INI Folder.
2. In the event they are not there, you most likely haven't extracted them from your INI.BIG File, To extract, use the FinalBig, or XCC Mixer.

Q. How do I convert my .csf file to .str for easier string management?
A. Read this tutorial written by Dafool. Here

Q. How do I add my own units to the game?
A. Read this tutorial written by Dafool. Here

Q. How do I have a vehicle have a different chassis, like the GLA Technical?
A. Read this tutorial written by Dutchygamer. Here

Q. Can I leave my mod's files as .ini's instead of putting them into a .big.
A. You can, but I wouldn't. IIRC, leaving them as .ini's slows down the start-up of your game.

Q. How do I add AI to my single-player map? [Works for AOD/Compstomp.
A. Check out this tutorial by Dafool. Here

Q. How do I change my resolution for the game, from 800x600 or 1024x900? [Don't remember the exact res.]
A. Navigate to your Generals/Generals Zero Hour Save Folder/Data Folder in your My Documents. Open up your Options.ini and change the line for resolution.. Sweet and Simple.
