Uh, okay. So I've been having this problem recently - when I add a trigger type 11 'Text Trigger' and specify what message should appear ingame.. it doesn't. I'm using stringtable00.csf from Ares, however I don't think it's related to the problem. The thing is that the string doesn't appear at all. There's no MISSING:BLAHBLAHTEXT message - just nothing. Comr4de encountered a similar issue when he was doing his mission, but when I restated those triggers (deleted them and added again) they worked.

Any clues?

Yep, happened to me before and it's happening to me right now. Not sure what the cause is but like you said starting the triggers again or importing the map into a new one seems to fix it. Not sure if FA2 adds the event/action wrong... I'll have to look into it.

Thanks to AlexB this issue is now fixed. Here's how:

FA2 saves Actions with 'Text Trigger' incorrectly as:

01000033=6,112,0,0,0,0,0,0,G,11,0,MISSION:ICBMA,0,0,0,0,A,17,0,7,0,0,0,0,A,55,0,5,0,0,0,0,G,19,7,CameraSwitch,0,0,0,0,A,11,0,MISSION:ICBMB,0,0,0,0,A

Fix requires you to change that 0 before MISSION:SOMETHING itself to 4. Result:

01000033=6,112,0,0,0,0,0,0,G,11,4,MISSION:ICBMA,0,0,0,0,A,17,0,7,0,0,0,0,A,55,0,5,0,0,0,0,G,19,7,CameraSwitch,0,0,0,0,A,11,4,MISSION:ICBMB,0,0,0,0,A
