found a "new" way for playing TD and RA mobile on my phone

all you need is a touchscreen phone (or PDA) with Windows Mobile and http://www.fpsece.net/, an psx emulator...
ofcourse you need a copy of one of the psx games and make an iso out of it (you can shrink them with pocket iso...found some other prog some time ago, but did not test it yet) and need an bios (like for any pscemu)
depnding on your device you get a nice performance.
i got an average of 20fps with RA without music and average of 15fps with music.
even Dune 2000 (3D) is running, but slower

only bad thing about it that there´s currently no free "save state" available, so you got to finish each mission to wait for your password

tried it and didn´t work for me.
most dosbox ports or dosemulators use on ppcs/pdas only 2x86 architecture and you need atleast 4x86 for playing those. dune2 does run but way too slow.
there´s a plugin for one of that many dos emulators that adds 4x86-compatibility but i always got some crashing when trying to load td or ra.

@cranium: don´t know if there are psx emus for palm os

Probably not, It's not a powerful device anyway, although I do have a snes emul for it with 110 games that works great. It's pretty much a pocket sized SuperNintendo now.

Genius... I bet i can play RA in dosbox on my oldschool toshiba handheld computer...

I got it to run Windows 3.1 after all, im sure it could handle vintage RA. Awww great, the gears are turning now...

Mobile-Gaming is so phun

bought me some mini-android-tablet (Archos A32IT) and a WiiMote.
Downloaded an app to connect both via bluetooth and installed psx4droid.
played TD on it and it´s mayor p0rnflakes.

The guy developing the psxemu for android is working on a N64 emulator too...
so cnc64 will be played as soon as possible

i don´t post any screens, coz you should know what it looks like

if you got an Android phone you can download AnDOSBox 1.01
cnc1demo works with sound!!! but is slow like hell on my pmp and the "touchscreen-emulated" mouse is a pain in the ass.
but it works
