way to plain...size of the map? toss a city in the middle of it so its not rush and attack. name should be Tournament Rift (2)

@Nikademis: it's clearly a remake of TW/KW map Tournament Rift, so there is no tossing cities into anywhere.


As I play the original T Rift almost daily, I can say the proportions are off...

There's a lot of extra space at the bottom, and on the other hand not enough space at the top. Basically this means that the bottom left and
right expansion fields should be in the corners of the map, not around the middle. And like I said, the space at the top where you could sneak-
attack your opponent is missing. Also, you have no garrisonable structures around the oil pumps like there should be.
Oh, and the blue field, it should be gems, right?

I will fix all of that, I know it isn't perfect but its a work in progress Smile
the Tibtree at the blue field will hopefully generate Gems Rather than more Wink Just like on the real map

Added a new Image, I have not yet moved it down but I will I am just trying to get a good layout. I extended the middle chasm to be a bit longer and I am redoing the cliffs roughly measured the same distance away from the centre section.

It's such a shame the map proportions between TS/RA2 and Gen/TW/RA3 are always off. In comparison with TS/RA2 sizes, Gen/TW/RA3 maps are awfully small. I know it from the other way around: you can't fully recreate large TS/RA2 maps in Gen/TW/RA3 Confused

The four player version needs a bigger plot of ore on the bottom side. That little spot of gems just isn't enough and the top has a shitload. Kinda stacks the games if it's TvB.

Not bad at all, actually, it's pretty good.

Only issue is that the big pyramid overlaps the cliff in front of it.

Pyramid only overlaps on preview in game it doesn't and your right fen will get on that :p didint think tvb
