I know that there's ways to run windows applications on osx, once that's solved just start modding. i believe you can emulate windows on linux, windows can run about 1 month without activation, then install finalbig to extract all files, and work with the extracted files on the native osx.

If that's no option you can try to download the loose ZH ini files to start modding, it might end up however that it can't be packed into the big files, or that it ends up not being compatible with osx.

On e earlier conclusion on ppm was that modelling generals/zh models was not possible on mac, so you'll need to use public models and/or someone with windows to make them.

Overall i think it's possible, yet more work than on windows.
Please note that this is logic thinking and not tested.

All you need is a text editor, but I know that XCC or finalbig won't run on OS X. Unless you can get a Windows VM or dual boot a Windows OS, you're not modding ZH too easily.

Yeah call it "not possible" if no one likes to write tools for it.
