Lost C&CIII: Incursion and Continuum Art
This might be interesting to many of you. Katz recently posted on Sandbox private forums a bunch of official, C&CIII: Incursion and Continuum (the triple-barreled Mammoth Tank) concept art, renders and more, likely to inspire Gangster in his work with ReWire. Many of them were already shown on other topics scattered around here, but there were also plenty of ones I had never seen before (and I have seen a lot of "lost" concept art). I'm not exactly sure what his source is, I suspect CNC Russia. The art is made by TAS aka Thomas A. Szakolczay and Evil Gary (except for the fan renders posted below). Both were employees at WW.

More. Also included is a zip file containing fan-made renders that you might find interesting. They are from a Crysis mod, I suspect Eclipse, but am not sure.

Yeah, you're correct. Thanks for clearing that out.
Also, right, "cabals droid.jpg" is an Evil G concept for Incursion, possibly for the second version (Remember they had two very different stages of production, one was supposed to have CABAL and the other had Scrin instead, IIRC).
Never before did I realize that the robot's roof is in fact a hatch that would open and spawn some sort of smaller robotic creature (look at the sidebar). Very strange and creepy.
This is the black-and-white original drawing of the Scrin alien:
EDIT: Yep, you can find the "alien broche" in the TS concept art section on CNCRussia. _________________
Odd how the C&C3 interface here looks exactly like the NanOS operation system for the Nanosuit 2.0 in Crysis 2 and how the alien2.jpg structure looks exactly like the alien spikes in Crysis 2.
Is there any chance that the same artist worked on Crysis 2 or that the art team there took references from C&C? QUICK_EDIT
*dies*
Thanks for posting all these, now if you excuse me, I must model them. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
Alien Spacecraft design for Science Fiction MMORPG. As in most RPG projects, one of my primary goals was to create an individual and distinct style guide for each faction that was noticeably unique to that culture. This one was based on curves and an organic form. It was created for Westwood Studios and Electronic Arts and is another image that has also appeared on my web site.
The following is not for a C&C game, nor made for Westwood or EA for that matter, but it is very similar to Garys style for the Scrin:

Concept Art Sketch for RTS Video Game. The design docs called for Cybernetic Weapon Systems and platforms that were genetically produced in such a way as to blur the distinction between mechanical and Organic attributes. The fun part of designing Cybernetic concepts is to create something without resorting to overused clichés e.g. simply jamming staples, stitches and machine parts into otherwise ordinary looking organic flesh. The clients for this project were Mad Doc Software, LLC. and Vivendi Games.
