Hello.

I been scouring the youtubeland and internets, for a video documenting the RA1 chrono vortex effect. its both featured in the original and Retaliation.

It's much different than the PC version. Quite frankly much more awesome and deliciously fear inducing.

anyone? Neutral

Thanks!

hrm both perhaps?

I recall it being an inky, prismatic, gelatinous hypercube.

I am looking to study its movements.

This is from the PC RA 95

I am struggling to find the PSX version, but search some gameplay footage of Retaliation or RA PSX and perhaps it will pop up.

EDIT: Its not a Tesla style, but its close to some strange cluster ztype...

Ohhh, I remember this. Much like Ickus describes and the video depicts, I recall it being a strange, morphing cloud with a purple tint. While not as much of a "Vortex" as the PC version, it was much more terrifying.

Yes! thanks the that dark "aura" is the one. sadly in this video it seems to be camera shy. I recall it wandering around and tesla raping any bases it happen to be nearby.

thanks!

The logic that controls both is the same, just the render effect was different. So study the PC version and you ok.

I remember the DOS version has a ball lens moving over the screen.

So does the Win version as Hyper posted

The video doesnt really do the PSX version justice, it looked really good.
