God I need to play this online. It lags severely on this shitty laptop if I play against more than four or five AIs though, so I'm scared of online play.

LAN gets so boring when your brother gives up half of the time.

It started as 4vs4, but very soon only Bittah and me were left, trying fierce to stay alive against 4 AIs and their neverending armies.

Sometimes we had luck and recovered during a short brake in a goodiecrate healing-field, repairing our few units.


AI had some big and well defended Bases, and sent one army after the other against us


We finally managed to build some units and started an attack on our part


With 3 AIs almost destroyed (Bittah killing those in the east, me in the west), life was much easier and the last AI wasn't safe anymore


The combined forces of Bittah and me finally overwhelmed the last AI


Leading to the longest match i've ever played online and with some of the biggest scores.
And i had 1 kill more than Bittah, yay. Very Happy

I use the latest version; it works fine for me. When XCC Mixer crashes on launch, deleting global mix cache.dat usually solves the problem.

This is what was causing my game to lag to hell (to the point where I'd eventually give up and get off).

The enemy units would cross the bridge on Tiber River (especially on comp stomp) and the train would come and crush half of them. The train itself would blow up, leaving behind the wagon, and the enemy units would just sit there trying to get past it, and the game would lag. Blowing up the train solved the problem. Rolling Eyes You have no idea how many A-10's I lost trying to do that. Boats wouldn't work because the civil patrol boats eventually started congregating under that bridge for some reason..

Tiber is a very heavy map because of its size and detailing. I generally wouldn't recommend it unless all players have systems that can run TS fast.

Nope, it runs fine up until they start piling up at the bridge. Very Happy I guess all of them being stuck at once just causes the game to slow down.

It is already implemented as a SW. Wink (The crate gives you the one time shot Airstrike SW)
It would just imbalance the game if GDI would get it in MP as a regular SW.
