Propaganda Tower
Affiliation: Soviets
Weapon: Loudspeakers
Role: Support Defense Structure
Cost: 1750
Armor: Basic Construction
Requirements: Palace/War Academy/Research Center & Headquarters

Initially used in Rural Towns to provide inspiration to the People. The Soviets have learned that somehow blasting these inspirational speeches & music can bolster their troops. Any units you own within earshot of the Propaganda Tower is magically able to recover their Health or Repair Damaged Units. Multiple Propaganda Towers have been seen further improving this effect.

Is there a build limit? Obviously theyre quite expensive but in theory building a line of them and a load of units could make a base impenetrable.

Looks awesome, the only thing that it needs is some shadows on the base stone/brick, other than that its good.

How were you able to make a area of effect "buff" as you might say that would constantly effect nearby units?

One would assume that such a tower would likely to be less durable than a cubical construct of a cardboard.

The Speakers have a very long cool down and usually only really make an impact when 3 or more are built in close proximity.The Speakers also cannot affect your buildings.And Each one only has a maximum range of 4 Cells and the 4th cell only dealing 50% effectiveness so bear that in mind.

The Propaganda Tower fulfills the same role of a Support Building akin to the GAP Generator for the Allies & the Psychic Tower for Yuri. Like the GAP Generator. The Psychic Tower & the Propaganda Tower also have their Strength adjusted to have the same flimsiness as the GAP Generator. They also both consume alot of power.

Check Kenosis' Tutorial in the RA2 Tutorials. That's how I got the Speaker Tower Working.

Until AE becomes a core logic in Ares the Propaganda Tower acts as a healing tower. Once AE becomes a core logic though the Propaganda Tower also provides the Units it applies healing to also gain a 20% Boost to Armor & Firepower. Which lasts as long as the next Propaganda Tower "Shot".
