More shit that nobody cares about. My parents and I are renovating my house, and I decided to do a mockup model for converting the Garage to a lounge.

You should move the couch and the TV to the rear wall (from our point of view the rear side). Right now you have a lot of unused space between the couch and the wall (i doubt there are so many people constantly moving towards the couch, that they need their own way to avoid blocking the view to the TV).
With these additional 3-4 m² you can move the bar on the right corner more into the room (it's a bar right?), which surely needs more space for a fridge and a shelf for glasses and bottles on the wall.

The bar should be a bit lower than the main TV area, so it's easier to clean up and spilled drinks/liquids etc flow towards the bar and not into the main lounge area.

Instead of a railing behind the couch, you should put a counter, so people standing behind the couch can put there their drinks.

Instead of lowering the main lounge area by 2 steps, you should raise it by 2. This way people sitting there get a better view towards people standing behind the couch (they don't have to raise their neck that much towards standing people and people at the bar; the view to the TV is also more horizontal for them). (also easier to clean up, if you can simply sweep downwards from the lounge towards the garage door)

Oh man, if you replace structures with furniture, you can turn C&C into a tactical indoor combat game.

*sigh* I don't know why I even bother posting here. LKO's the only one who ever posts constructive criticism. Then you get idiots like Deformat and xenoclast who just don't make any sense at all :/

Well, if you want constructive criticism for 3D interior design and architecture, it's smart to post this stuff at cghub or something like that.

It's kind of outta my field of expertise.

The bar has to stay where it's at because that's where the water line and drain are at. The elevated area can take slight modifications, but the foundation of the house is elevated towards the back.

Orac: Yeah, I know, but like I said, there's not too much I can do with the bar's location hahaha.

Mav: It's a wet bar #Tongue
