Westwood Pacific / Red Alert 2

According to Wikipedia, EA had acquired Virgin Interactive's development studio based in Irvine, California. Then this studio had been renamed to Westwood Pacific.
Red Alert 2 was developed by Westwood Pacific.
Did the developers of Westwood Studios (Las Vegas, Nevada) move from Las Vegas, Nevada to Irvine, California in order to develop Red Alert 2 OR was Red Alert 2 developed by people who lived in Irvine?

The easiest way to find this out is to check the credits of each game. However, I will put money on the fact that Red Alert 2 was NOT made by the LA team.

Joe Bostic was part of the programmers in Red Alert 2, Tiberian Sun AND Tiberian Dawn. So he took part in both teams. But did he also move from Las Vegas to Irvine OR was Red Alert 2 actually developed in Westwood Studios (Las Vegas)?

Red Alert 2 came out before Westwood Studios was closed and "moved" into LA. In fact the first C&C game developed by EALA was Generals.
My only doubt is if the Westwood Pacific team was something close to the Westwood Las Vegas team.

So when I look into Wikipedia I read: "Red Alert 2" Developer(s): Westwood Pacific.
There is no article about Westwood Pacific. Only a small text "Along with Westwood, EA had also acquired Virgin Interactive's development studio based in Irvine, California. It was managed by Westwood and became known as Westwood Pacific".

So if Red Alert 2 was developed by Westwood Pacific in Irvine, Joe Bostic could have moved from Las Vegas to Irvine.

Is that the only name that matches between the two games? A single programmer? Hardly sounds like anyone from Westwood actually moved to Irvine.

It is a name. If he didn't move to Irvine, then in Wikipedia should be written "Westwood Pacific AND Westwood Studios" as the developers. OR "Westwood Pacific AND Joe Bostic" and maybe some others. Razz

Well, maybe Joe Bostic could give an answer if he moved from Las Vegas to Irvine. I mean when the developers developed the previous C&C games (the ones before Red Alert 2) in Westwood Studios in Las Vegas, what about Red Alert 2. Did ALL developers gather in that Westwood Pacific building in Irvine?
@Joe Bostic: From where did you develop Red Alert 2? In any of those studios (Las Vegas or Irvine) OR at home? If in that Irvine studio, did you move to Irvine in order to develop Red Alert 2?

Honestly we neither know much nor bother to know about it. AFAIK, we only know that EA bought WW, they continue to make games before they got absorbed fandom gets pissed blah blah blah. Sorry pal but Joe isn't in this forum.
