GTA IV and Display driver
So, I just installed GTA IV on my comp. All nice and dandy, however my Graphics card doesn't have an update. To be precise, the igxprd32.dll 6.14.0010.5258 is the driver version of my main display driver (I have Intel HD Graphics.. custom one.) , and apparently I need 6.14.0010.5259 to be able to run it. Sadly, there is no 6.14.0010.5259 out there for my laptop, so I'm kinda stuck and don't know what to do. Is there any other option out there to make it work that I'm missing? QUICK_EDIT
You might want to check if your Intel HD Graphics is supported. I had it in Wargame and in... some other game where in the tech support forum it was mentioned that it wasn't supported for the game. _________________ Free Tibed!

The integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD (GMA HD) graphics card is known to be clocked up to 500-667 MHz (due to Turbo Boost) and should be clearly faster than the old GMA 4500MHD. The Core i5 and i7 models should still be a bit faster because of the higher max. clock speed of the GPU. The performance of the graphics in 3D should be on par with a Radeon HD 4200 but the driver support is usually worse.
I doubt you're going to run GTA IV on your laptop, with the game's GPU requirement being a GeForce 7900 or a Radeon X1900. Those GPUs are about as powerful as newest-gen Intel HD Graphics 4000, which is much faster than previous-gen Intel HD Graphics are. _________________ CnCNet Client | CnCNet TS patches | More Quality-of-Life Improvements for RA Remastered

Actually, had the luck today to meet an old friend, and he told me this.Apparently, this is the reason they're not updating the drivers.

Actually becouse it's horribly optimized for PC's you can't run it without lag on almost anything, it's known that it lags even on i5's and i7's with a super GPU, if you do manage to start the game turn off the shadows that makes it ~50% faster _________________ Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun ,Red Alert 2,Renegade, Command & Conquer 3,Tiberium and Tiberium Wars and Westwood related image & video archive
