Particle system on warheads?

I'd like to have a particle system effect on a warhead in TS, like little sparks flying everywhere when the projectile hits something. I think the Acolyte's weapon in Total War did this, I have no idea how it's done though.

It's one of these things that make the game SLOWDOWN a little bit. (I can't play Total War even against one computer, excesive visual effects I fear)

look at the [Gas] warhead Wink

Also particles are great and do not slow the game too much as long as LIFETIME is short.

I would advise not adding particle systems to debris though as IE are bound to occur but trailer anims on the other hand Smile

I don't use that many particles.. Infact all my railguns generate way less slowdown than the originals.
