Remember that time those guys made that thing and it was kinda broken and over-budget so the publisher pulled the plug and took it in-house and retooled it?

The Westwoglyph guys are good at that.

This time the world is getting another lane-pushing game, but with tanks this time.

Release it and let the voices rippable. Then it at least worthed it.

Especially if they could clean those voicesets further than how I heard them last time.

After 8-9 months of nothing news wise, it's actually back? I thought it was gonna be one of those vaporware games.

Then again it could've as well been, if this is gonna be another carbon copy of the MOBA juggernauts like DotA & LoL etc. Or maybe it's just marketing, and the gameplay is still going to be similar to what it was before, which in all honesty wasn't too far off from what you see in MOBA games.

Also do note that Petroglyph is no longer on the board, as you kind of already said yet still used that Westwoglyph name. Part of the whole thing was that publisher Trion Worlds kicked out Petroglyph as a developer and took over the development themself.

so then, Generals 2 will have to do... ztype.

lol at Petroglyph after being kicked trying the same crap with Victory, another MOBA rts thing. No news from that either after the canceled kickstarter. nothing on their forums.

Trion sucks big time anyway.

It's like Petroglyph is trying to scrap for any possible cash instead of going for their initial hopes of making good games for the sake of making good games. For the past 5 years. Wonderful.

Played it twice at GamesCom (two separate years), didn't like it in either time. Way too chaotic and unclear what does what (although that may be the beta)

I'll be honest, they changed what I liked most about the game: the atmosphere. It's now more like RA3 in art style than C&C3, this annoys me because the plot is actually a serious(ish) plot.
