skirmish problem

I downloaded the latest version of rotd with teh 2.2 patch and a TS version2 patch. But when i goto skirmish against the AI i can only get the grand canyon map, because the maps button dosnt work. is there a newer patch or something that im missing?

btw even on only 1 map its still great Very Happy

Is is really only the grand canyon map that works, or is it just that it crashes on Winter maps?
About the Winter maps thing... don't run in compat mode.

when i click on the 'multiplayer maps' button the screen goes back to the title. if i click on 'random map' the game just crashes

But, are you running in compat mode or not?

And you say "version 2"... is it 2.03?
Version 2 is just the Firestorm expansion.

if you mean compact install then yeah cos my HDD is extremly small. ill try that new patch link and see if that works

not compact... COMPATIBILITY

In Windows XP, if you right-click on an exe and go to the Compatibility tab you can run the game so that it reacts as a Win95/win98/win2k program. This sometimes solves the problem.
In other cases it just makes it worse though.

You say to run without compat mode for snow maps but my RoTD wont start without compat mode....

lmao sorry didnt notice the lack of a 'c'. my computer runs on windowsME with no FS. ill just have to burn that patch onto disc and try 2moro
