Conscripts form the backbone of the Red Army, men from different walks of life drafted into service by the thousands. Meant to be cheap and expandable cannon fodder, Conscripts are only given basic battlefield necessities to ease logistics: PPSh-41 submachine guns that work reasonably well against infantry, flak jackets to give them some sense of protection, worn out gas masks meant to make them appear more intimidating, general battlefield knowledge, and a strong devotion to the Motherland and the Soviet cause. They're inferior compared to other frontline infantry - save for Wing of Freedom Militants - but excel at massive human wave tactics, where their sheer numbers can easily drown the opposition in a hail of gunfire. Needless to say, many Conscripts die in such attacks. They're at least trained in urban warfare, able to garrison civilian structures and bunkers for protection and some of the more experienced Conscripts are given better equipment.
