This isn't super critical but I like digital copies of things more than physical since they seem to last longer honestly. So I've been trying to get the Ultimate Collection working at least half decently. In the process, of course, installing the fixed launchers to hopefully get the games running in HD. Yet the blasted thing just doesn't want to run. It runs perfectly fine with the default launchers, but it just goes crazy with the fixed ones. It constantly displays a busy mouse, a jittery one that resets itself like I'm trying to open several files in a row.

I got my old first decade CD, steam editions, and the free editions of the classics to fall back on in case this falls through, but I really would like to get this running if at all possible.

Make sure you're using Bibber's most recent fixed launchers then disable Origin in-game. That's how I got them to run without any issues.

I set the option to disable it on the launcher and in general. Didn't seem to help any.

If it works without the fixed launchers, don't use them. They're only useful if the games don't work.

I was wanting to fix the resolution of the games, but I gave up with it and used the First Decade.

What was wrong with the resolutions? I run TW/KW and RA3/U off Origin in windowed mode with widescreen resolutions just fine.
