The spoils of war must be kept somewhere. The Syndicate use these structures to store any unprocessed ore for storage until it is needed elsewhere in the base for processing.

Nice model, texture and details.

For my taste however a bit too cartoonish. Especially the Ore looks like big gold nuggets.

That's how Ore looks like everywhere in Red Alert 2, so it fits the theme.

I get the impression that pile of ore looks like a giant golden brain, at least in the "Full" frame... which fits well with the Syndicate, I suppose.
