Virus in the Community? Be careful.
I recently recieved an email from dad_a_tude's yahoo acount with an attachment message.zip. Hotmail even caught that it had a virus "WORM_MABUTU.A Virus Found." I'm not trying to rag od the tude or anything, I'm sure it was an accient but i just want people to be warned. Gonna go post this at TumSun now! QUICK_EDIT
Seems someone mirroring my accounts.
I've sent no one in this community any emails recently.
Also someone is making bogus emails from my domain name. I'm getting back undeliverable mail with oddball email names that dont even exist.
One was hostmaster@habot. Account doesnt exist.
And after checking your email addy here, I don't even have you in my address book.
Looks like someone's targeting me & they had to pull my email & your's from here or PPM. I'm also getting alot of errors showing up in my website stats that show someone trying to access some of the cgi scripts. Had to kill the submit a link feature I had because of that.
So hopefully if anyone else got any emails from me, they didnt download any attachments. Dont bother with any emails from either my yahoo account or the habotsteel domain name. Like I said, I've emailed no one in this community in at least a month and that was a reply to an email I received.
One thing I'd like to know is if my signature was attached in the email.
Hell of a thing to wake up to on Xmas morning. QUICK_EDIT
