-You cant access mental omega mix and files.
-Use voxel section editor for resize.

If you're looking for assets, YRArg has many for download with INI codes included. You'll find animation packs too. And then there's the Media Hut subforum in this forum. You won't find exclusive content in any of those, but you'll find enough to fulfill your needs.

http://www.yrargentina.com/old/index.php

To make a voxel smaller, you need to edit the voxel bounds in VXLSE. make the bounds tighter to make it smaller.

To make it bigger, you'll normally have to resize the whole voxel at scale 2, and then make it smaller with voxel bounds. Ideally, you should smooth out the voxel it self in this case.

If the voxel has already been scaled down through voxel bounds (in HVA builder, the individual voxels may appear 'overlapping' each other), then you can skill the resizing part, and just increase the voxel bounds.

About fixing Ares; we need more info. Are you using launchbase? Does the crash happen in unmodded YR 1.001 too?

BySc, you can access them, just not with XCC as it follows the Mix file spec too closely while the game ignores some parts of the format in some circumstances. Programs that read Mix files like the game do can handle them just fine.

Whether you should be accessing them is a different matter, for your own personal amusement making a personal mod or modding mental omega itself, again for your own amusement are fine, making a mod you release and using the assets without permission, not so much.

I'know orginal game read protected mix files if someone reach mental omega and other mods mix we understand that this modification is taken from the file.

You can use MadHQ's Turret as it is the one being used by Mental Omega for the Allied Turret.
