My thoughts on the NOD Subfactions and Lore in TI
Maybe in the Lore of Twisted Insurrection NOD's Army begins to diversify
Doesn't have to show in-game but it gives something for mission dialogue and explores the inner dynamics and relations within NOD
The Spear of Kane (Africa): The guys you play as in the Campaign. Second largest Sub-faction within NOD
CABAL's Chosen (Western Europe): Uses primarily Drones supported by Eclipse Tanks. Oddly enough stays neutral during the Cyborg Civil War
The Dragon Pilgrims (Asia): Largest NOD Subfaction. Infantry have better armor and longer weapon range. Mostly uses TD-Era Vehicles (With the exception of Ecplise Tanks). Joins the New Brotherhood during the Civil War
Black Hand Elite (New Zealand): The Elite Troops of NOD. Their Infantry use Laser Weaponry and have Heavy Stealth Armor. Stays NEUTRAL in the Nod Civil War
-They are so powerful it would take THREE of the other Subfactions to destroy them!
The Redeemed (Mutant Forgotten, Middle-East): Mutant Infantry are more expensive, but better than standard NOD soldiers. Uses TD Vehicles. Joins the Old Brotherhood side during the Civil War
The Latin Liberators (Central and South America): They are the masters of Guerilla Warfare. Their Scorpion and Stinger Vehicles are more powerful at the cost of having no access to the Eclipse, Stealth and Flame Tanks. No Flame Infantry but has Commando Unit
-They are the instigators of the NOD Civil War, forming the Core of the New Brotherhood
The Army of Vengeance (USA): They use a combination of NOD and GDI Tech from the Dawn Era. Likes rushing the enemy and focusing on Refineries. No light vehicles
