Twisted Dawn - GDI M2 Bradley?
Subject description: Because, why not..?
It could be sort of a "mini anti-everything" campaign only unit for GDI. Kind of like a discount Mammoth Tank with the weapons systems' roles reversed.
It could have a 25mm Gun as unintentionally depicted in the cutscences in Tiberian Dawn as an anti-infantry weapon and ATGM missiles as anti-tank role without AA capabilities. And perhaps being able to carry 2-4 infantry inside?
while it would be nice to be more realistic, such multi-role units are hard to balance ingame.
If you have a tank that can do everything, there is no need to build anything else and people will start to spam these only very quick. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
Or is just inferior in terms of cost-efficiency. Especially with the TD units it always felt that way - not everybody lives in the USA, you know!
Where are the German vehicles? The Russians? Etc...
This is especially noticeable in the campaign, because as it is it really seems as if all battles take place in what used to be the United States and Egypt (no other country uses the Abrams Tank!) _________________ Tales of War QUICK_EDIT

oh.

Unless it cannot be built.
That should probably balance it more.

So you want something like this?
There's also a Flakpanzer Gepard in the intro of the first GDI mission. Does that help?
The 25mm Gun could do slightly more damage than the HumVee's MG and the ATGMs could be on par of Recon Bike's missiles or deal slightly less damage than the Tank Hunter's missiles. The Strength could be decreased from 300 to roughly 230 to discourage tank engagements and be more of an IFV. It could also be ineffective against structures. QUICK_EDIT
GDI was originally under the UN so it makes sense that the US might contribute weapons (e.g. Abrams tanks) to GDI. General Sheppard was an American after all. _________________ Peace through overwhelming POWER! QUICK_EDIT

Yeah but that does not mean the other vehicles did not exist and would not be used by various factions.
I suggested this WAY before - I think back in 2014 if not earlier - but I agree with the TI staff in their response back then. It's not necessary to do this - bugs, new maps for the various gamemodes, GDI/Nod structures/units for Skirmish and online play, etc... they are all much more important.
The campaign only stuff, while it is necessary for a finished release, should not be a priority. This is still the case - I think there are still some placeholders in the game and these probably need to be replaced first. Building up the Campaign arsenal can be done later.
Same for a fourth faction, actually. _________________ Tales of War QUICK_EDIT
