Same techlevel buildings and AIbaseplanningside problem
Subject description: Hope senior modders could help me out!
I have two questions:
1. If two or three buildings have the same techlevel, how do I know which one AI will pick to build first? I have two buildings with the same tech level and prerequisite, but AI only build one and build the second after they have finished building other structures.
2. I want sandbag walls available for all sides, so I set AIbaseplanningside=-1 (as I read in Modenc) and set TechLevel=1, but it always shows at the bottom of the sidebar. Is there any way i can do to get it showed on the top of the sidebar other than cloning the walls for three sides? 1. AI goes constantly through the BuildingTypes list from top to bottom.
If it finds a building that it can and has to build, it builds it and starts from top again.
2. afaik order of the BuildingTypes list defines the order in the sidemenu (at least it's this way in TS)
To have a building higher in the menu, you have to move it up in the BuildingTypes. But beware that this way you change the index of the following buildings and thus break all ai.ini scripts that refer to these buildings by their index number.
