EDOT 2: Attached the map file in case anyone wanted to get their hands dirty.

EDIT: Updated map image to reflect both the waypoint (top) and house Player@ logic (bottom) locations on the map to help clarify what I'm trying to do here.

Trying in vain to set this map up so that the neighboring waypoints on each of the four base locations are automatically "allied" at the start of the match.

I have 8 player location waypoints, going clockwise, they cycle from 0-3 with 4-7 being adjacent to them respectively, so that selecting up to 4 players will still result in a traditional non-coop skirmish unless players manually select their teammates. Locations 4-7 are positioned in such a way as to share the starting location, so in the event that an enemy is selected in the bottom 4 of the player list, it won't be hostile. Where the red squares are my starting locations, the teammate locations are just a tiny bit further out toward the ore.

My problem is that I simply do not know how to get any of the "Player@X" houses to autoally... at least using the trigger editor.

Any help here would be hugely appreciated, even if it's just to tell me it can't be done so I can stop spinning my wheels.

What you are trying to do is not doable with map triggers at all. Or in any other way, really.
