These textures actually look horrible up close, but anyway they do the job...
As for the designs, the designs of the original Allied buildings are not that consistent in the first place. So, to me, the design consistency is not that much of a concern, as long as they aren't too out of place.
I'll make some civillian defensive buildings next time. But I need to finish this "ship" first...
Wow, I already see the open version used in every mod as the sprite for Volkov. Good design, hope to see it finished!
P.S. The angular helmet looks more like an Allied design (though it reminds me of HL2 Combine more), so I'd personally prefer either the version with the "silly hat", or a version with some round-shaped helmet like the one Tesla Troopers have. Nod cyborgs are supposed to be scary, and Nod stuff in general (just look at the Devil's Tongue). But that's Nod, while Soviets are more about weird/intimidating stuff, rather than about putting wounded people into walking machines of death (yes, there's Volkov, but he is the case of "intimidating", not "scary"). Btw, does he really need a set of melee attack frames when crawling?!!
IIRC you can't disable the weapon while prone, so it would look bad if he suddenly stands up to do a slash and then jumps back down into the crawl frames again.
a little addendum:
you can make an infantry unable to shoot while prone by using FireProne= and set a frame higher than the number of frames in the prone firing anim.
So an infantry with no FireProne anim on the sequence usually gets the same frames settings as Prone
e.g.
[Sequence]
Prone=74,1,1
FireProne=74,1,1
[Infantry]
FireProne=2

Thanks. But it got its attack frames for crawing so it's not an issue now.
Btw it seems that this method won't work when someone want to make infantry unable to fire when swimming.
Now, an assassin/infiltrator/saboteur, whichever you please.

These muzzle animations are made at the request of someone else, so they won't be released.
Anyway I'm not quite satisfied with these anims. Maybe I'll make another set of tank muzzle anim and release them as public assets, if they are needed.
