Eh, I hate to admit it, but I need new textures for the RA3 kirov. It's just waaay messier to fix than the RA2 one... I have here my progress so far from these textures I have edited...

I AM USING MSPAINT!!, And I don't have much of a choice, because I do not trust 3rd party software from the internet, My phone is the only sole provider of Internet for my Laptop, and I lost multiple HDDs a few years ago due to viruses... And I even had to go and fix it, because One time I was so careless that I spilled Coke on it. Wall bash!

But I do use software that I buy in discs...

Oh, and BTW, thanks Mig Eater for the 3ds files!  Very Happy

Paste the whole texture into shp builder and re-draw the texture as if you are drawing a vxl, i.e. apply color contrast techniques, etc

File->Export or just c&p back to mspaint and save it as bmp Very Happy
You may want to shrink down the texture since details mess up anyway
This is a airborne so shp could be the better choice #Good Gift

I find GIMP hard to use due to it's weird looking GUI I'm not used to...

How is this?

You really should learn how to use GIMP (or Photoshop), with those programs you can do stuff like this in minutes.

Well GIMP is probably miles better than MS Paint. As it'll give you more tools such as Layer Control and saving in more varied file types. Also you gotta start learning a new program eventually.

Isn't that always the process of learning new software?

@Mig Eater: Thanks again! I just wanted the dark part removed, It looked dirtier than the RA2 one Very Happy

@Atomic_Noodles: Maybe I'd GIMP it again for my drawings Confused

@OmegaBolt: Yeah, but I take loads of time just to get used to it, but before I do, I would read up on a program's manual (and I don't even know what button to use to make that pop-up! And I don't wanna go messing around with it, because I think it could mess up my computer  Sad
