Problem When Rendering YR Map

Subject description: Has anyone else experienced this?

I've been trying to render maps for YR and keep getting this error message. I know nothing of what it means:

It appears an error ocurred during image rendering.


Has anyone else experienced this?

Well at a glance it appears it couldn't read one or more of your mixes, are any encrypted/broken maybe?

Is this the stock Yuri 'all01umd.map' campaign map?

If so, you will need the render to force YR engine, it looks like its trying to render with just RA2... Which means the renderer knows nothing about the YR content in that map.

I did try forcing YR, but same thing:

Is this a campaign from a mod?

Or is this a factory YR map?

I was able to render the 1st allied mission just fine.

Supposed to be Factory YR. I probably should have mentioned I have the XWIS version of YR as well (because regular RA2 via disc just won't run on my computer for some reason).

I guess make sure its pointing to the correct folder.

Figured out a solution. I just made a new folder in my RA2 directory and moved ra2.mix and ra2md.mix into that folder. Set it to that location and it rendered fine.

Or perhaps the folder's location was too long. Or perhaps it contained characters that couldn't be parsed. We'll never know. #Tongue
