Speed: Slow

Armor: Heavy Aircraft Plating
Strong: Ground/Air Targets
Weak: Anti-Air
Movement: Air
Requirements: Weapons Factory and Radar Tower
Additional Info:
- Cannot Attack on the Move

The Mil Mi-24 Helicopter or as the Soviets commonly call it, the Hind. Is their dedicated Gunship. The Hind is armed with multiple weapons namely its 12.7mm Mahchine Guns and 4 pairs of Missile Pods. After locking onto ground targets the Hind will unleash a barrage of its missiles. Against Aerial Targets the Hind will use only its Machine Guns which while powerful requires the Hind to attack targets much more closely. The Hind also comes with a reinforced frame and cockpit granting it increased durability in combat but in turn sacrifices much of its speed for this.

According to original Rules, both RA2 and YR, the Hind was meant to be able to transport tanks and infantry, in a similar fashion to both the NightHawk AND TS's Carryall.

It was scrapped, but the VXL is still in a MIX. What'd be it's RL-counterpart?

Also: Anyone know a Hind with rotating Rotor?

The MI-24 Hind is a real helicopter... it's it own real life counterpart. It gained a fierce reputation among the hajis in Afghanistan for ztyping shit up.

Also, the Soviets didn't call it a 'Hind'. That's a NATO code for the helo. All Soviet helos are called something beginning with the letter H. Hook, Havoc, Hind, Helix...

Last I chk-ed, the RL Hind didn't look like the 'claws' of TS's Carryall.

The main excuse that the Soviets are calling it a "Hind" now in Colony Wars is bcause they bought them back from NATO-backed nations.

I've yet to update the in-game pic yet but I've thickened the sides by 1 pixel on each side. I'm not sure I'll likely visit the voxel again. I had a very terrible experience trying to get its HVA's displaying properly in-game and the HVA Builder/VXLSE being annoying about its correct coordinates. Which I thad spent roughly 8 hours trying to align it properly. From Saturday 7am to Sunday 3am straight.
